Pastor O: 30th Church Anniversary

Posted on

Greetings First Met Family,

I’m excited about our 30th Church Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, February 26th!
The Bible includes incredible records of Jewish holidays and festivals commanded by God to recall His work in their history. These celebratory remembrances are some of the most important celebrations of the Jewish faith.
We too will celebrate and remember the goodness and grace of our God for 30 years of ministry in Northwest Houston. God has blessed us to make a noticeable difference in the lives of people in our church, community and city. God has provided for us and protected us over these years, so we have a lot to celebrate.firstmet_30thmaroon
Our special guest will be: Bishop Merton L. Clark of the Truth Revealed Ministries of West Palm Bay Florida; the Anointed Psalmist Jekalyn Carr; as well as Dinner and Festivities on our grounds. It’s going to be a great day celebrating our Great God. So, don’t miss it!
Dress for our celebration is jeans, khakis, with casual or tennis shoes. All who remain for the celebration after the 10:45 service will receive a special commemorative T-shirt. We need the sizes of your entire family (children & adults). Email the sizes to Kimberly Washington at kwashington@firstmet.org.
I am asking that you each bring a special offering for our 30th Church Anniversary. Cheerfully consider giving a gift in one of the following amounts: $30, $60, $90, $120, $300, $3,000. Special envelops with be available for you.
Let’s all be here to make our 30th Church Anniversary one we will always remember as a special celebration that shows our appreciation and gratitude to our Great God with Great Expectations for things to come!

For His Glory,
Pastor O
Dr. John D. Ogletree, Jr.
