Join us tonight, May 8 for the first Zumba Class at First Met, held in the Upstairs Fellowship Hall at 7 PM.
Our First Men fellowship is this Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Instead of meeting at the church, we are asking all men to meet at Bear Creek Park. Our location will be at Clay Rd and War Memorial Dr. Take a left ( if coming from the beltway; right if coming from Highway 6) into the park on War Memorial then turn left into the first parking lot next to the walking/running trail.
As a practical way to show God’s love, we will be passing out cold water to walkers/runners, as an act of kindness.
There are grilling areas in the park as well so those of you who want to grill hot dogs or hamburgers please feel free to bring any needed supplies.
In addition to the acts of kindness, fun and fellowship, we will also discuss our upcoming Men’s Conference, June 13-14, so come with your ideas, your spirit of volunteerism and your support in making this conference a huge success.
Please plan to attend, we look forward to seeing you and having a great fellowship. Any questions contact Al Dugas at 832-545-1390.

I would like to thank you all for attending the 2nd Annual Market Place Ministry Business Seminar last Saturday, March 22. 2014. This meeting showcased some extremely strong and powerful speakers and we were very fortunate and blessed to have them in with us.
I would like to thank our keynote speakers Michelle Hardin, our Branding expert and Atty. Ugo Onwudiegwu, also a CPA for attending and opening our eyes to so many aspects of branding & protecting our business. They presented us with a wealth of information that we will be able to use and prayerfully profit from moving forward. Please feel free to reach out to them at anytime.
I would also like to thank our surprise First Metropolitan members, Patrice & Jerome Simmons, who shared their testimony and secrets to starting their God given business, Comfort Care Assisted Living.
Please send me any ideas or suggestions that you have about future meetings & speakers that you would like to see presented by the MPM. Also, we would like to move forward in establishing an energetic group of MPM members who can continue to support this ministry with ideas and suggestions on expanding the ministry, so that it can empower & be a blessing to more First Metropolitan members and those in our community.
Email me your suggestions or Shannon Taylor and thank you again for attending. Please stay tune for more information coming from the MPM on establishing a tool where all of our businesses can be shared in print or through electronic & social media.
Yours In Him,
